Pete Souza's "Obama: An Intimate Portrait"

Other than the secret service agents, there was no one with Obama more during the most crucial moments of his presidency than Pete Souza. He was the Chief White House Photographer for both of Obama's terms, and also Ronald Reagan’s. During his time as President Obama’s personal photographer, he was able to capture over 1.9 million photos of Obama. Souza had top level security at all times and was with Obama during every meeting and event, but he remained behind the scenes and always captured the moment without disrupting official proceedings. He selected his favorite images that he took over the 8 years of Obama's presidency and compiled his own photo book. The new book, Obama: An Intimate Portrait, is a 352-page book featuring Souza’s most prized shots of Obama. Check out some of them below, and to purchase your own copy visit his website.
